Education Support

The college has an extensive network of tutors and Indigenous education workers (IEW’s) who provide in-class support for students.

Supervision and support for the education support staff is provided by the Special Needs Coordinator, especially in regards to providing advice and support for teachers in programming and assessment.

Accelerated Literacy is a program integral in assisting students who are weak in their base literacy skills. Classes are provided both in the primary and secondary settings.

The ‘Quicksmart’ program provides numeracy support across the college. In secondary Mathematics Club, tutorials are provided free of charge weekly after school to aid student in developing their mathematical skills.
